This unit is designed for automatic filling and dumping of grain 24 hours a day. The stainless steel temperature sensors are monitored to accurately control the dumping of grain at a predetermined moisture setting.

The KA-710AB Control Center uses the latest in PLC technology to control all functions of the automatic batch roof dryer. The unit will dry, cool, dump, refill and restart, all automatically, 24 hours a day. After drying and optional cooling cycle, the drying fan can be programmed to continuously run, or shut down during the automatic refill. All day to day functions are performed on the switches mounted on the exterior or the weather tight control panel. There is no need to open the panel door once the dryer controls have been set. These features include fan 1 and fan 2 start and stop switches, dryer control functions, and a burner on/off switch. Dryer control operations can be easily monitored through the clear cover on the control panel. The backlit 4 line LCD visual display module informs the operator of all functions of the dryer. These displays include time settings, auger delay settings, fan/heater errors, low grain full storage and power out conditions. An LED temperature display continuously informs the operator of the grain temperature. Stainless steel temperature probes are available in sets of 2 or 4 sensors. A simple set point menu is standard on all units.

KA-621 Switch

A KA-621 switch (pictured) is mounted at the top of the grain column to monitor grain level. This reliable, easy to maintain switch is also used to monitor the batch empty mode before refilling, and below the drying fan/heater as a full storage monitor of the cooling and storage compartment of the grain bin.
