Plant Supervisor software provides a powerful control interface to the modern bulk facility. The Plant Supervisor software is capable of controlling several different measuring and mixing systems, utilizing a variety of meter and scale systems. The software provides an easy-to-use interface where the operator may specify quantities of products and recipes to be part of orders. Once the order is created the operator may run the order immediately, or store it for later. Once the operator runs the order Plant Supervisor takes care of controlling each system involved to make sure products are dispensed at the right time. Since Plant Supervisor may control multiple measuring and mixing systems it is capable of complex staging between those systems. All the operator needs to worry about is what products or recipes need to be included in the order, Plant Supervisor will take care of the complexity of making sure products and recipes are dispensed at the right time and right quantity.

FLEXIBILITY

Hardware

Plant Supervisor is capable of working with several different meters and measuring devices from a variety of manufacturers, including scales, mass-flow meters, and pulse meters.

Unit of Measurement

Plant Supervisor is also capable of working in several different units of measurement (including user customizable units).

Plumbing

Plant Supervisor is flexible enough to work with just about any plumbing setup. Each discharge location may be given a human friendly name, and a set of diverters that must be activated to send product from a measuring or mixing system to the specified discharge location.

Information at your command

Plant Supervisor is capable of producing a wealth of information in a variety of formats to make it easier to access all the details of transaction records, inventory, etc.

Inventory

Since Plant Supervisor maintains an inventory of each product in the system, an inventory report may be printed or e-mailed at any time. Inventories may be reported in a variety of units.

RECIPES

Plant Supervisor is capable of storing a practically unlimited number of user defined recipes. Recipes may be given human friendly names, and are selectable, along with products, when creating an order.

Example Recipe

Recipe: 28-0-0		Now when the recipe is selected and the quantity requested is 400 lbs, Plant Supervisor would dispense the following quantities:
Product	Percentage	Product	Quantity
Water	12.5%	Water	50 lbs
32-0-0	87.5%	32-0-0	350 lbs
Total	100%	Total	400 lbs

No matter how much of the recipe is requested, Plant Supervisor will make sure that the ratio of the products within the recipe is always the same.

SECURITY

Each area within Plant Supervisor (orders, setup, inventory, product information, recipe information, etc.) may be locked for any given user. Multiple user accounts may be setup with passwords, each account may be granted access (none, view-only, or modify) to only the areas they need to get their job done. This helps prevent users from accessing private information, or from accidentally, or maliciously changing information.

INFORMATION

Information export

All information that Plant Supervisor stores and uses may be exported to formats that may be used in many popular spreadsheet and database applications.

Tickets

After each order is run a transaction ticket is automatically created. Plant Supervisor may be configured to automatically print this ticket to multiple printers, or to automatically e-mail the ticket to the customer or a plant manager. When a ticket is created it is also stored on the computer and may be displayed on screen, printed and even e-mailed at a later date.
